Hearing Notice

Notice is hereby given that on the 1st day of July, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at  the District office a public hearing will be held regarding a pending petition requesting certain lands be added to the benefited area of Judicial Ditch #17.  Notice of Hearing

Drop Box

An outdoor drop box has been installed at the east entrance (main door) of the District office.   This has been installed so  the public can drop off permits, payments and documents before or after office hours.  Drop Box

Amended Rules

MN Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR)

BWSR has completed its final review in conformance with state law and concluded that watershed district has adopted a rule, titled Middle-Snake-Tamarac Rivers Watershed District Buffer Enforcement Rule that contains adequate provisions for compliance and enforcement of Minn. Clean Water Grant Awarded to The Watershed

The Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) through the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment has awarded $144,000 in funding for the improvement for Polk County ditch #175.  In an effort to improve water quality and the drain system as a whole, twenty-three high priority locations have been identified as critical areas to reduce significant erosion and agricultural field sediment loads from entering the drain system.   Additional information regarding Clean Water  Land and Legacy funded projects, can be found, by clicking here.

2019 Hunting Season

The 2019 Hunting Application to hunt on MSTRWD property is available on the “Permits” tab.  If you do not have access to a printer, stop by the office to complete the permit.  Please pay attention to the rules and check out the “Hunting Maps” under the “Permits” tab, as these are the only places that the public is welcome to hunt.
