Responses will be viewed only by Laura Jester, an independent consultant working with the District. She will compile the results of this survey and present them to the Watershed District, along with recommendations on how the District can improve its operations and outreach. Your answers and comments will remain confidential. She will not disclose the names of respondents to Watershed District managers or staff.

There will be a public hearing to discuss the potential Judicial Ditch #75 repair and road repair and movement along Judicial Ditch #75 at 8:30 AM on May 2, 2017 at Bremer Bank, Warren, MN.
There will be a series of informal meetings with landowners within the drainage area of Judicial Ditch #14, at the Viking Cafe on May 5, 2017 at 8:30, 9:00, and 9:30 AM , to obtain information about drainage and flooding issues.

Watershed District Administrator Vacancy
Vacancy: The Middle-Snake-Tamarac Rivers Watershed District (MSTRWD) in Warren, MN is seeking a District Administrator. The position is responsible for the overall day-to-day functions of the District including maintaining all official MSTRWD documents, preparing budgets, and administering finances. This position includes, but is not limited to: implementing the policies of the MSTRWD Board of Managers, representing the District in dealings with other governmental entities, administering contracts, overseeing MSTRWD staff and projects, interacting with the public. The District Administrator position is exempt from overtime classification with a pay range of $4,166 to $6,750 per month (DOQ). For additional information about MSTRWD, please visit mstrwd.org. Minimum qualifications: Extensive experience in engineering, construction inspection, project management, and knowledge of field equipment; working knowledge of computers and software programs (Excel, Word, and Quick Books); knowledge of Minnesota Drainage Law; experience in personnel management; excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
Preferred qualifications: Previous watershed district management experience is desired for this position or a civil engineering degree.
