Paul Aakre’s UMC Class Tour

Our staff member, Danny Omdahl, took Paul Aakre’s class from University of Minnesota Crookston on a tour around our District. They got to see and learn about some of the Districts large projects such as the Diversion ditch in Warren, MN and Agassiz Valley Impoundment.

Warren’s Elementary School came out to the Marshall County fair grounds to participate in many activities relating to water! Our staff member, Christina Slowinski, helped out at the Watersheds station.
April 24, 2016
North America’s largest high school environmental education competition. This was the first round of competition held at Agassiz National Wildlife Area. Marshall County Central Schools compete against each other by taking exams and giving an oral presentation. Our staff member, Christina Slowinski, was a judge for the oral presentations.
