Lilac Ridge Water Management Project

Starting off as the JD #14 sub-watershed Project Work Team, the Lilac Ridge Water Management Project is a proposed off-channel impoundment and JD #14 stabilization project that features an increased capacity through the Lilac Ridge Road crossing. The proposed impoundment site is located downstream of the Lilac Ridge Road and has a 31.4 square mile contributing drainage area.

The project will provide 2,275 ac. ft. of gated storage and 2,845 ac. ft. of total storage volume to the auxiliary spillway crest. The proposed project also includes lowering and increasing the capacity of the Lilac Ridge culvert and stabilizing the immediate upstream and downstream reaches of Judicial Ditch #14 near the Lilac Ridge to more efficiently capture flood waters within the proposed impoundment site.
