NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 19th day of August 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at the Middle Snake Tamarac Rivers Watershed District office located in Warren, Minnesota, a public hearing will be held regarding a pending petition which was filed on May 28,2024 with the Board of Managers of the Middle Snake Tamarac Rivers Watershed District requesting approval of partially abandonment of portions of Polk County Ditch #175 system and to separate a portion of the Polk County Ditch #175 into a new ditch system.

Said petition and other documents concerning this matter are available for inspection at the office of the Middle Snake Tamarac Rivers Watershed District, at 453 North McKinley Street, in Warren, Minnesota.

All parties interested in the petition or who are affected by said petition are invited to appear before the Middle Snake Tamarac Rivers Watershed District Board of Managers at said time and place to present their support for or objections, if any, and show cause why an order should not be made by the Board of Managers of the Middle Snake Tamarac Rivers Watershed District to approval the partially abandonment and separation of portions of the Polk County Ditch #175 system.

Any interested person may also submit unlimited written comments which must be submitted to the District office by Friday August 16th 2024. Written comments should be directed to: MSTRWD, PO Box 154, Warren, MN,  56762 or emailed to info@mstrwd.org.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Board of Managers of the Middle Snake Tamarac Rivers Watershed District, sitting as the drainage authority for redetermination of benefits to State Ditch #3 (SD #3) will hold a final hearing on the viewers’ report of redetermined benefits and damages for SD #3. The viewers’ reports were filed with the drainage authority and are available for inspection at the offices of the Watershed District. The hearing shall be held at 5:30p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024, at the Community Center in Argyle MN. At the final hearing, the drainage authority will accept public comment regarding the viewers’ reports. Any party having an interest in the proceedings may appear and provide comment. Written comments will be accepted at the hearing and by mail through the date of the hearing at the office of the Watershed District, PO Box 154, Warren, MN 56762.

April 15, 2024

The regularly scheduled Board of Managers Meeting set for April 15, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. has been cancelled due to a lack of a quorum. The Board will instead meet on its alternative meeting date of Monday April 22, 2024 at 8:30 a.m. at the District Office. The agenda for this meeting can be found on the District’s website under the meeting tab.

 

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

 February 20, 2024

Notice is hereby given that sealed Quotes will be received at the office of the Middle-Snake­ Tamarac Rivers Watershed District, 453 North McKinley Street, Warren, Minnesota 56762 until 1:00 o’clock PM on Friday, March 29, 2024 for the rental of fully operated excavation equipment. Proposals are being requested for Blades, Dozers, Excavators, Loaders, Mowers, Off Road Trucks, Scrapers, Skidsteers, Trucks & Tractors.

The contractor will furnish the equipment listed for the prices shown, will furnish and maintain certificates of Workmen’s Compensation Insurance and Liability Insurance with the District.

The Middle-Snake-Tamarac Rivers Watershed District (District) reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and to award contracts to other than the apparent low quoter.
